‘Two Left Feet’, Bronze, 2024

This work is inspired by Camus' notion of the 'uselessness of suffering'. The bronze feet pushing against the wall, which traditionally is a symbol of stability and permanence, here it becomes a burden that the feet struggle to uphold. Through this work I want viewers to challenge conventional expectations of what is actually meaningful and invite them to reflect on the inherent absurdity in our quest for purpose.
